About

Qualifications

At age 16, Emilie began her further education at Macclesfield College, where she earned a Diploma in Public Services and an A-Level in Mathematics. Her studies helped develop strong communication and teamwork skills—essential qualities for success in business and partnership roles. She went on to study Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) training at Edge Hill University, gaining in-depth knowledge of medical conditions. This clinical understanding has proven highly transferable, particularly when supporting clients with complex medical histories during the underwriting process.

Previous Experience

Emilie began her career at The Insurance Surgery as a Protection Adviser in February 2020. Initially providing administrative support. Her attention to detail and strong client service skills soon saw her take on additional responsibilities, including assisting clients with writing their trust forms. In this role, she provided insurance solutions to clients with unique circumstances. Her success in this position led to her promotion to the Business Partnerships team in February 2024, where she now focuses on developing and maintaining strong relationships with partners.

  • Recognised for contributing to a 109% increase in partnerships sending protection cases over a 12-month period, reflecting her effectiveness in partnership development.
