Private Medical Insurance and pre existing conditions
When applying for Private Medical Insurance it is important to make sure that you disclose any pre existing medical conditions at the time of application.
Insurance companies will not usually charge you an extra premium for existing conditions, but they will probably exclude treatment for your condition from the policy. If however you need treatment for an unrelated condition your policy would be valid.
