The Insurance Surgery's Charity Support Programme - 2012 update
2012 London marathon - Olympic year
This year's 2012 London marathon is set to be the biggest and best yet with the London Olympics just around the corner. The Insurance Surgery are very proud to be taking part and supporting the MS Resource Centre yet again this year and to have double the number of runners.
This year, The Insurance Surgery's team will consist of Caroline Szunko and Chris Thompson who will be taking on this monstrous challenge to raise valuable funds for charity. Our aim will be for each runner to raise a massive amount of £2,012 for the MSRC to reflect the fact that it is the 2012 London Olympics which we know will be difficult in these tough economic times. The aim will be to hold a number of fundraising activities beforehand to help raise funds and awareness for the event.
The MS Resource Centre is our longest standing and closest Charity partner which we have proudly supported and been involved with since around 2005. We have taken part in a number of events so far for MSRC such as our Coast to Coast bike ride and last years London marathon. This year should undoubtedly be by far the biggest and the best in terms of the profile of the event and the amount of money that we're aiming to raise.
